Exclusive: first look at Lakeshore Lodge's pool and lazy river
Construction on Disney's Lakeshore Lodge is moving fast — and Disney invited press to tour the rising exterior from Bay Lake to see it for themselves. The new concept art released alongside the tour reveals an elaborate pool complex: a lazy river winds past the main pool deck, surrounded by lush landscaping designed to evoke a classic national-park resort. The detail level on the pool area is striking — it's clearly designed to be a draw on its own.
The hotel is on track to open in summer 2027, adding a fresh waterfront option to the Walt Disney World lineup between the Contemporary and Wilderness Lodge areas on Bay Lake.
