Disney Removes Free Nighttime Spectacular Viewing, Introduces $28 Fee
A premium viewing area for one of Disney’s signature nighttime spectaculars has moved behind a paywall, marking a significant shift in how guests access the best seats for after-dark shows.
Disney has announced that guests wishing to access a prime dedicated viewing location for one of its nighttime spectaculars will now pay a $28 per-person fee — an area that was previously complimentary. Disney’s nighttime shows have long been central to the Walt Disney World experience, historically offering free viewing from various vantage points around the park. The move adds to a growing list of previously-included experiences that now carry an upcharge, alongside Lightning Lane and paid parking. Disney has not indicated whether the fee structure will expand to other park spectaculars.
